Can I reach people who aren't my customers yet?
Yes. Stribe members upload receipts from everywhere they shop. A Nearby Shopper or First Visit campaign reaches people who just bought something around you — even if they've never heard of you.
How do I know a campaign actually brought someone in?
The receipt. When a member redeems your reward, their receipt from your business is read and verified, so new customers, returning customers, revenue and ROI are counted rather than estimated.
What does a campaign cost?
You set a daily budget and a maximum number of redemptions, and you pay for rewards that are redeemed — not for impressions or clicks. The campaign stops when the budget does.
My business shows up as “unclaimed”. What is that?
Members can upload receipts from any shop. When one doesn't match a business on Stribe, we create an unclaimed listing for it. Claim it to see how many shoppers are already uploading your receipts — and start rewarding them.
How do customers join my Stribe?
You get a QR code to put on the counter, the receipt, the window or a table tent. They scan it once, and from then on everything you post reaches them. You can also share a join link anywhere you already have an audience.
Is there really no cost per message?
No. The subscription covers the tools; sending is not metered. Post as often as you have something worth saying — there is no per-message, per-member or per-campaign charge.
How is this different from a WhatsApp broadcast?
A broadcast list is capped, gets throttled, and lives inside someone else's app under their rules. A Stribe is a proper membership network: unlimited members, structured posts like offers and events, loyalty and rewards built in, plus analytics on who actually came back.
Do I need new hardware or a POS?
No. Stribe runs on your phone. POS and CRM integrations exist on Enterprise if you want redemptions flowing automatically, but nothing is required to start.
What happens to my members if I cancel?
You keep your member list and can export it. We don't hold your customer relationships hostage — that would rather defeat the point of the product.
How long does setup take?
Most businesses are live in under fifteen minutes: name, category, location, hours, and your first offer. Upload a menu or a flyer and the AI pulls out the items for you.
What does the AI assistant actually do?
It's trained on your own menu, hours, offers and events, and it answers customers when you're busy or closed — including taking bookings. Anything it can't answer honestly goes to your inbox instead of being invented.
